Mosaic Monday

It has been raining for several days now. The world outside my window looks gray and gloomy. I’m sitting inside my warm house, drinking hot tea, and looking at the flower pictures that I took last summer.

The variety of colors and shades the flowers come in amazes me. I ask myself “What is my favorite color of flowers?”, but it is really hard to choose. They all are so beautiful and unique in their own way.

Take a look and tell me if you can pick a favorite color.

White

Yellow

Orange

Red

Pale Pink

Pink

Lavender

And Blue.

Let’s add some Green as well!

I’m joining Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday.

Oh, WOW! Beautiful! Are these all from your garden??? Do you know what they are, especially the roses? The pale pink one on the top of the collage is gorgeous. What is the garden in your blue collage? And what plant is on the largest "Red" picture? Wonderful pictures, so much color on such a grey day is making me smile.

Thank you all for kind comments ;-)

Masha, some of these pictures are from my garden, but most of them are from city parks. I don't know the name of the roses. The pale pink one is from my garden. I once went to San Jose Rose Garden when volunteers where clipping the roses there. I picked a few clippings and planted them in my yard. They grew into a beautiful rose bush, but I have no idea what kind of rose that is.
The garden in the blue mosaic is Filoli estate near San Francisco.
The picture in the red mosaic is actually a tree. I took it at Capitol Park in Sacramento. Unfortunately, I don't know the name of that exotic tree.

Lovely! All so very lovely... (My eye still goes to yellow. And I noticed the yellows in each grouping.)

I thought it was the pinks that were my favorite, but then I saw the BLUES! Beautiful! I have visited the Filoli gardens and would love to go again. It has gotten warm and sunny here so it looks and feels funny with everything still so brown. Best to you, Olga!

Hi Olga,
I could never pick! But... the Foxgloves always thrill me, a magical looking plant! Gorgeous photos!!
I have been wondering how your rooted Rose cutting did! There is a Rose at the Rose gardens here that I love and can't find, I thought about asking for a cutting this year on pruning day:-)
Hope you are warming up, we are cold and snow in the forecast...

Underbara bildcollage! Att välja efter färg förstärkte intreycket av respektive blommor än mer. Spännande även för mig i Sverige att se arter som odlas i Callifonien. Vänliga hälsningar Zinnia
