In my previous post, I shared some flowers from my garden. But today I want to show different kind of flowers – crocheted ones. They are so much fun to make!

This big flower-brooch was inspired by Danette from Tea Cups & Knitting Needles. She made two gorgeous felted roses, and as soon as I saw them, I knew I wanted something similar too. I used baby alpaca yarn that my sister-in-law sent me some time ago.
I just know this brooch will look great on a denim jacket. The problem is I don’t have a denim jacket. Of course, I am going to buy one now. I wanted a good quality denim jacket for a while now anyway; I just haven’t found one at a good price yet.

This second flower-brooch is made of cotton yarn. I made it for my eight-year-old cousin. These delicate pink and green colors will be perfect for a little girl.

I see them on a hat!
Oh Olga! They are so pretty!
Beautiful!!! I just finished today a project with crocheted flowers and crochet leaves for our grandkids Nursery/playroom. Planning on taking photos tomorrow and posting soon. My preference is for soft colors as you have done but for the kids, I went with bold and colorful. :)
Oh I love your flowers Olga, so romantic no matter where you put them.
I'm busy crocheting mauve and pink cell phone covers with white roses on for my daughters Tracfone LG800G smart phones so they don't scratch their touch screens as they cost me $50 ea. I'm only paying $5.99/month for 40/min a month though, a bargain family plan.
My book club girls want me to crochet shabby chic girly nook covers in pink, mauve and orange colors with roses on, I can't wait to see their faces when they see the girly nook covers.
Just darling! You're right about the denim! It would loook sensational. The pink one reminds me of a Mary Engelbreit design. So cute!
Darling! They look like roses.
Hi Olga
They're just as pretty as the real ones.
