When I was flying to Paris last month, I read in the onboard
magazine that one absolutely must have a scarf in Paris this fall. It’s the
fashion thing! I was glad I had mine with me!
A scarf is a beautiful accessory, which can be styled many
different ways. Moreover, it can be turned into a practical piece anytime you
need. Throughout my trip in Europe, my scarf was very handy. One evening in
Paris, we went out for dinner. The restaurant was within a walking distance and
the evening was very pleasant. However, on the way back a drizzle started. Not
having an umbrella, I however had my scarf. I put it on my head and felt
comfortable and chic.
And here are a few more gorgeous scarves and wraps (the
photos are from Traidcraft website).
I have a wool wrap similar to this one. I received it from
my mother-in-law as a Christmas present last year. I can’t wait until the
weather cools down, so I can start wearing it.
Of all the scarves and wraps from Traidcraft, this hand knitted Alpaca wrap is my favorite. I wonder if I could knit something similar.
My sister-in-law got me several skeins of beautiful Alpaca yarn. I might give
it a try as I definitely need more scarves and wraps for this autumn.

The picture looks so beautiful and so do you. I love scarves and wraps. One of the reasons I love this time of the year is that I can start wearing them again.
I love your scarf Olga...it's very pretty and elegant. I love scarves, you can just about wear them with anything. The weather is starting to cool down here and I have been in the mood to make a new one but was uncertain. Now I have some great ideas...Thanks, Shari
I LOVE scarves! During cool weather I wear one almost every day. It is my favorite accessory. I enjoy wearing basics, but then add a pretty scarf. I tie/arrange my scarves several ways~ Looks like you had a wonderful trip!

Great work! Nice blog! Congrats!
You are gorgeous Olga. I have a thing for scarves too.
Dearest Olga,
You know how to naturally dress very feminine and elegant. Certainly you gathered lots of great memories on this trip. I too love scarves and shawls. My favorite for taking to Europe or Canada is my Aquascutum out of cashmere with a silk lining.
Hugs to you,
Mariette
You look very nice with the floral background in Ukraine Olga. I have several scarves but don't wear them near enough. Perhaps this fall I'll think of new ways to wear them.

Olga ~ you look lovely in your scarf! I love scarves and wraps. I am cold natured so I need plenty of things to wrap up in. I love to make them too.
You look so stylish Olga! I have just glanced back at your blog and enjoyed the pictures of your trip back home. The hardships of previous generations are amazing when compared with the comforts of life we enjoy now. Your photo of the geese is wonderful!
