Thank you for your kind comments and get-well wishes in my
previous post. I was happy to read them all. It was nice to know that you
haven’t forgotten me and haven’t unfollowed my blog even though I wasn’t
blogging for quite a while.
One person suggested buying a bouquet of tulips, and I must
say I loved that idea. Tulips are my favorite flowers since I was a child. Back
in Ukraine, they are in bloom in May, the month of my birthday. My mom used to
buy them for me on my B-days.
So I asked my husband to buy me tulips, and here they are. I
don’t know why, but I expected white or pink ones, but I must say these bright
red ones really did the trick. Red color radiates energy, don’t you agree?
I feel so much better now and everyone in the family is
finally recovered!

Hello Olga
Glad you're feeling better. Bad colds and flu have been making the rounds here too and I was quite ill myself after Christmas. A relaxing week in Mexico brought me around but it is darn cold here now.
We must all be yearning for spring, I just bought myself some tulips today at the grocers. The red tulips are gorgeous, a warm up to Valentine's Day perhaps?
Take care.

Beautiful tulips, Olga! Red is my favorite color for flowers - so vibrant! Love the crocheted lace, too! Glad you are feeling better. Hopefully spring is just around the corner xx <3
Much sickness around here too. I am glad your crew is better. The tulips are beautiful. We had great weather last weekend and I cut back all my perennials and roses and am ready for spring. xo, olive

Dearest Olga,
Lovely tulips and they do make me think about The Netherlands where they bloom in April/May as well...
Glad you all got over the flu by now and life can proceed to normal.
Hugs to you,
Mariette
Tulips are on of my favorite too and the red ones are super cheery! Happy you are feeling better :)
Hi Olga,
I am glad you are feeling better! The Tulips were a great idea, something pretty and fresh in the house is always a mood lifter :-) Your husband picked well:-)
Hugs,
Bella
I'm glad things are looking up for you Olga! Beautiful tulips! I haven't been spending much time online either! I've been a bit blah after the holidays too. A little bloom goes a long way, though. I may have to find something to stick in a sunny window for a few weeks!
I love tulips too, and facy them flowering around your birthday each year...lucky you. A friend gave me a big bunch of red roses from her garden today and they certainly cheered me up.
So glad to hear your house is on the mend. The tulips are gorgeous - they'd make me feel better too!
These tulips are beautiful! In Poland they also bloom in May :) I can't wait to see the tulips growing in the garden... and their smell!
What a pretty picture - lovely tulips on a beautifully crocheted table-cloth. Enjoy your renewed good health and vigor.
They are lovely! I adore tulips, too. I've got some pink ones in my house. Beautiful photo.
