Last year, a single grape hyacinth volunteered in my yard. I think it sneaked in under the fence from the neighbors. I carefully replanted it, and this year I have a planter full of these lovely blue flowers!
It seems that this plant is very undemanding. It spread quickly and didn’t require any special care at all. Since I don’t have much time for gardening now anyway, such low-maintenance flowers are always welcome in my garden.

Dearest Olga,
The rewards for naturalizing bulbs is always great. They might surprise you and these blue grape hyacinths are so lovely. Enjoy them!
Love to you,
Mariette
Natural garden care always emphasizes a complete new looks to our garden that is in fact not manicured, and holds in itself all shapes and styles of nature. We can always ascertain that a natural garden is always welcoming to a number of creatures apart from human beings.
These little blue poppers makes you feel happy instead of blue! Don't they?!
Olga, how thrilling to have it volunteer and be so beautiful. hugs, olive
Hi Olga
Good photography of one of my favourite spring flowers. When they go to seed, I like to shake the seed heads around to encourage a faster naturalization of them.

Well it will be a while before my hyacinths peek out from under..we might have an early spring as so far we are not having a normal winter. I think the hyacinths are such a sweet little flower. I have a special liking for the tiniest flowers...nice photo shot. Enjoy your flowers..
Lovely grape hyacinths Olga! I have them too, though before the flower heads come through its easy to mistake the plants for grass of the wild kind!My snowdrops are whats giving me the greatest pleasure now in the garden!
One of my favorites! Your photos are beautiful Olga.

I love these little flowers. So sweet, and such a beautiful color.
I "inherited" some pretty ferns from my neighbours side of the fence. Some intruders are rather welcome. Yours are lovely.
Lovely to see your flowers blooming Olga! You must be enjoying the lovely spring flowers in California! Have a great week!
Hello Olga...Lovely grape hyacinths. Are the ones you have also called muscari? Just curious.
You have a lovely blog.
Thank you so much for your visit and comment to my blog. Susan
Lovely Olga, I love these little flowers...I had one and I don't know where it went...lovely photos...thank you for sharing them...Happy Weekend Janice
Ohhhh, I'm jealous yours are blooming already. They spread like wild fire here, so they're a bit naughty, but I love them nonetheless.
I'm also jealous that you have blooming flowers! All I see in Nebraska is brown.
I LOVE how you said you sneaked it in under the fence. I sneak too! :)
I just found your blog and it's just beautiful. xo

Very adorable and pretty flower, grape hyacinths gives beauty and color to your garden.
Gorgeous flowers.....we are still in the 30's degrees here and everything is all brown.
You must have a beautiful garden. Iryna.
Such pretty flowers, Olga!! I am a new follower.
ooooh, these are so lovely! I am partial to 'old fashioned' flowers and those that are purple, blue or pink~ Because we live in an area with high annual winds it is difficult to get plants to grown longterm...would love to have these in the yard!
Happy March~
