When I used to live in Sacramento, this was my favorite place. It’s so peaceful and remote. I loved walking the ranch’s paths, looking at horses and cows grazing, and pretending that I was a country girl living on a farm.

The park is huge! It has a beautiful pond with noisy geese and ducks. There are several corrals and pens with farm animals – cows, horses, goats and sheep, pigs, and even two llamas. There are lots of shady places and huge oak trees to have a picnic under.
And that’s what we did! My family and I met up there with my cousin and his family for an afternoon picnic.
It was great to visit my favorite place again and see its beautiful views. But this time, my favorite ones were these

children exploring the nature

running around and exhausting my husband playing tag.
What a fantastic place, and what a great memorable time we shared there. We surely do spend a lot of time outdoors this summer. Usually I would complain about the summer heat, but this year I just embrace it.

That does looks like a lovely place. I especially like the final photo and can imagine being by the shore with the sun coming through the tree. It looks like such a tranquil spot, Olga.

Wow Olga that last shot is stunning.
Dearest Olga,
For children growing up in such a natural environment with animals and nature around is so valuable. Great way of having an afternoon picnic!
Love to you,
Mariette

Dit is spectaculair! Simpel gezegd Ik waardeer uw geschreven inhoud van het lezen van iedere keer dat ik voer alarmtoon. http://www.inuwtuin.nl/hekwerk
Our practice is to go without furniture until we can afford what we really like~ hence, we had no dining room table until our 10th wedding anniversary! lol~ As I got older I realized quality (and loving our selection) was more important to us than quantity. Also, we learned to choose UNpatterned pieces that will coordinate with various drapes and pillow changes. Ugh...made the mistake of getting a plaid sofa when we were newlyweds! Fun park pics. The bottom one/sunset is spectacular...nice shot!
It's so wonderful to see the kids out enjoying nature. And what a sunset! It must have been the perfect ending to a lovely day =)
It is nostalgic to be in a place where you spent much of your fond childhood memories. What makes it more special is that you get the chance to share it with your kids. I am glad that you are letting your kids enjoy the outdoors more. It’s a good way for them to break away from their school work and activities, even for just a while. By the way, this ranch is truly breathtaking. This is a place you will treasure for a lifetime!
Bedankt voor de tijd neemt om dat te bespreken, ik voel me echt sterk over en liefde meer te leren over dit onderwerp.
