These pretty gladioluses are now blooming in my yard. I must say I am very pleased with them! They are such tolerant flowers. They are quite happy with the water they get from the sprinklers and I don’t bother to water them additionally. I need to tie up their tall spikes of large blooms, but that is not difficult and doesn’t require much time.

Right now I only have these yellow ones with red centers. I bought the first four bulbs from a dollar store last year, from which I had a few blooms. They reproduced quickly and this year I have several big plants and lots of small ones.
I found gladioluses to be the easiest flowers to grow of all I have tried. For this reason, I am going to add more gladioluses of different colors to my yard next year.

I'm linking to Tuesday Garden Party at An Oregon Cottage.

Hello Olga,
Your Gladiolas are gorgeous. They are my birthday month (August) flower. I remember growing them many years ago. Seeing your photos make me want to purchase some bulbs to plant this fall for next year.
So nice stopping by to see this lovely post!

Hi Olga,
Your gladioluses are gorgeous! I wish I could grow them here, but I guess I am a little too lazy to dig up the bulbs before winter and bring them indoors. I'll just have to enjoy yours :-)
They look lovely, but be careful, they spread and spread and are really hard to get rid of :)
amazing i say !! nice research done on this work..great..
Your flowers are amazingly beautiful.....yellow flowers are my favorite color. I don't have any in my garden but my Dido and Baba use to have gorgeous ones...maybe one year I'll plant some too.
thanks for sharing your garden photo's Olya.

Home improvement is predominantly triggered by the desire to own a comfortable home. Home improvement can be slightly difficult, if your financial position is tight. This is where home improvement loans have a function to perform. Being a homeowner you could not have been in a better position to apply for a home improvement loan.
Gode billeder.
Hvor er de smukke.
Her er de ikke i blomst endnu.
Tak for kigget.
Ha´ en dejlig aften.
I planted gladiolus for the first time this year and something seems to be trampling them. They have not bloomed yet. Yours are gorgeous!!
Your Glads are gorgeous! i don't have any planted in my flower bed. I think i need to add some next year!
This might seem a bit strange and I'm no horticulturist but I swear that my wildflowers grow father and wider around the water features I have in my yard. Especially my Haddonstone fountain, they seem to have good taste!
Garage door installation and garage door parts should be fixed and replaced by professionals but sometimes, it is also useful to know quick fix techniques to save on money and time. Look for a vendor that has a good service track record in order to avoid further problems.
