New Doily

Are you tired already of seeing my doilies?

big round doily

I’ve crocheted quite a few of them this year, but my huge ball of crocheting thread (it’s cheaper if bought in big sizes from Michael’s) is only half gone!

Perhaps it’s a magical one that will never be over no matter how many doilies I crochet!

Hi Olga,
I found my way to you by your nice comment on the Granny Squares at the Großmütterchen blog. And I immediately HAD to add you to my bloglist - wonderful pictures on georgeous topics (creative stuff with yarn and food). Now I'll have a more detailed look - would you mind if I stay a little bit longer at your site? ;)

I love your doilys and think maybe you should consider opening up an Etsy shop to sell some of them.

Hi Olga! Oh, what a gorgeous doily! You've done a wonderful job! I saw some of those big balls of string and thought I should have gotten one!I love to crochet too and have made a few doilies in my time! A few days ago I posted an afghan I've just finished. Pop over to see it if you'd like! ;)
Well, as far as Fallen weather goes - it's still in the 80s here but I'm trying to rush the cool if I can! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Dearest Olga,

Nádya already said it: 'perfectly crocheted'! You do have a very even hand in crocheting; a perfectionist with needle and thread.
Enjoy your beatiful creations as such talent is still rare! Enjoy your Sunday and have a lovely new October week.
Love to you,

Mariette

I just love doilies and yours are just beautiful. There are a few things in life that you can never have to much of, and doilies is up on that list. Those like you that can turn a ball of thread into a beautiful piece is pure talent. And talent you have.
Hugs,
Ellen

Hi Olga
I always enjoy seeing your doilies, I use them around our house, many that are vintage.
Too bad I never learned to crochet and then I could be creating my own like you.

This is so beautiful, Olga. My mother-in-law used to make dollies like these and I have many of them which I enjoy using.
