Autumn has finally arrived to my town too! I was busy last weekend preparing to welcome it.
I cleaned my garden, covered the yard furniture and put away garden tools and other summer things. I stored away summer clothes and pulled out from the back of the closets the fall/winter ones. I inspected my children's wardrobe and made a list of new garments to buy.
But the most enjoyable part of all was brining out my autumn decorations. Now I am certainly ready for the wonderful season of autumn!

And what a beautiful welcome to autumn it is. I still need to bring in a few things from the gardens and I am so laxs this year in cutting down my dead plants. I will try this weekend to get to, if not we will have a pretty snow garden with the dead heads poking thru the snow. I always leave certain dead heads for the winter birds to pick at, they love it. WELL FALL IS SURELY HERE I STARTING CLEANING THE GARDEN ONLY A LITTLE THE WEATHER HAS BEEN SO CRAZY I STILL HAVE THINGS GROWING...I DID TAKE THE CUSHIONS OFF THE BENCH AND CHAIRS..IT RAINED A COUPLE OF DAYS...HUGS JANICE

I haven't put any of my garden furniture away yet because we are having all new inter/locking work done and the yard looks like a hurricane hit it. The worker's said they will be finished in a week I hope. I did put a wreath up but it was so dusty from the yard work that I put it back into the house.....This weekend we have Thanksgiving in Canada....so maybe today I can put some decor up before my Family comes for dinner. I managed to make some 'varenyky'....not Thanksgiving food but everyone requested it. LOL.
