A Vegetable Garden to Envy

Last weekend, I went to visit my family in Sacramento, California. I was amazed at my mom’s vegetable garden, which she started this year. Her vegetables are thriving. Here are only some of the highlights of my mom's wonderful veggie garden.

Cucumbers

Peppers

Tomatoes

And cherry tomatoes

Eggplants

Leeks

Corn

Beets

And squash

Don’t all these vegetables look luscious?

I’m joining Tuesday Garden Party at An Oregon Cottage. Cannot wait to see the gardens of other bloggers.

Nice field! I envy, too. I'm not good at to grow vegetables....

Wow! It's beautiful!
This year I have had no time for my vegetable garden because the preparation of my shop and health problems that have left me not a minute free.
Now, though a little late, I'm going to plant cucumbers and zucchini.
What I am getting plenty are strawberries and raspberries, plums and peaches also have a lot of fruit that will soon be able to collect.
I hope next year to grow more vegetables.

Hi Olga, your Mom's garden is absolutely luscious! Everything looks so healthy, especially her tomato plants. Now I'm hungary! My tomato plants are coming along, but no tomatoes yet. Hopefully we'll have some soon.

This is a beautiful garden indeed.
Your mother sure invested many hours of work in it, this is what I don't envy.
That gorgeous sunflower picture is what I envy.
Have a great week!

Followed you here from TGP. Your mom's garden is beautiful especially for a garden started this year. She must not have a green thumb but an entire green hand!!!

Also, I love the sunflower picture.

Just stoppin' by from TGP. When the veggies in my garden get as big as the ones in your pictures I can hardly wait to harvest them. I'm jealous of all your eggplants, as my plant only produced one. Happy to be your newest follower and look forward to more Gardening Posts!

I'm so glad you joined the Tuesday Garden Party, Olga! This is wonderful and a great reminder for those of us a little north :-) what we can look forward to in a month (or two!). Ah, but those beets! Mine never look like that? Have you ever had beet chips? Yummy!

Olga-
Wow your Mom's garden is amazing! She is a wonderful gardener - I can tell that she really knows her stuff! I am especially jelious how far ahead she is in the growing season from myself up in Oregon. I can just taste that corn she is about to get to pick! Thanks for stopping by my blog too!

What an incredible garden! Fresh veggies are the best. I love sunflowers too - usually get a couple because the squirrels steal seeds from the bird feeder, bury them and forget them!

Dearest Olga,

Glad I found you! These are the vegetables that I remember from my Dad's greenhouse in the south of The Netherlands where he was a market gardener... SUPER job done by your Mom! In our state it is way too hot for veggies and the soil has no water holding capacity.
If you visit and/or follow my blog you find the flag of your home country as I had already 3 visitors from the Ukraine. Small world! A dear friend from Moskow also is named Olga...

Greetings from Georgia/USA
