My New Pink Pretties

Usually I don’t have many opportunities to go shopping for fun, but last weekend I went to a few places.

I found these cute inexpensive hankies at a little shop that was going out of business. I love that sweet embroidery, and to make them even prettier I am going to add crocheted lace. I’ll share the results with you when I am done.

I love cute stationary, so I was delighted to find these lovely note cards and a journal for only fifty cents each at Michael’s. I also bought some in blue.

And my last pink piece that I want to share today is a new pink doily. I’m really getting into crocheting doilies lately. I hope I won’t ruin my eyesight or get carpal tunnel syndrome.

The pink doily is so pretty Olga, what a nice pattern. I look forward to seeing your handiwork on the hankies too.
I wouldn't worry about crocheting for those ailments, think about the next generation after they've been texting on tiny keyboards for years.

Olga the pattern on this doily is one I haven't seen before - it's very delicate and will look wonderful on a summer tea table with some of your garden flowers!

Oh, my gosh, that doily is awesome! I love to crochet but am not really into lacework like that. My latest thing is socks. They are fun, but they'll never become an heirloom piece like your doily will!

1ust seeing these hankies reminds me that my grandmother had a pretty collection. I think friends often exchanged hankies for each other's birthdays. Your pink doily is so pretty!
