How Does the Garden Grow? July

My garden is not at its best this month (the reason being the hot weather), but it’s doing all right.

I recently harvested my garlic. They aren’t very big or pretty, but homegrown and organic.

My tomatoes look nice and healthy. And my cherry tomatoes are beginning to ripen.

At this point, there are no flowers in my garden suited for bouquets, but there are still some blooming plants that cheer the eye.

For instance, these little flowers are so delicate and pretty. Last year, I didn’t notice how beautiful they were. But this summer I’m loving the lilac color, so I paid closer attention to them.

And here are a couple pictures of white flowers. I love white any season.

I am joining Tootsie for Fertilizer Friday. Can't wait to see other gardens this weekend.

I love the garlic Olga, maybe it's my artist's eye but I see so many wonderful colors in that basket I am fascinated..:)
I too love lavender colored flowers...sadly I didn't plant any tomatoes as I lost mine last year to the blight and it was awful!
Have a good gardening day!

I picked a couple of cherry tomatoes out of our garden last night and threw them on a salad. I have bigger tomatoes but like yours they are still green. Looks like everything is almost ready.

Hi Olga... It is time to pick our garlic too.. ours is small to but due to lack of sun!!! The garlic is so pretty in it's purple skin! I am jealous about the tomatoes, mine are still in the bloom! I think the lavender flowers would make a great bouquet:-)

I have noticed that white flowers of any kind grow and bloom faster than any other color of their same kind! Your flowers are pretty...and your garlic looks fine! I like cooking with it.
thanks for linking in this week...have a safe and happy weekend!

I love the colors of the Garlic, how Wonderfully they are displayed. Also loving the pretty petite lilac flowers. If your garden was full of blooms they would go once again un-noticed.Odd how things work out :)
Thank you for stopping by and for your Lovely comment :)
Have a Great weekend ~

I never thought of growning garlic.... my tomatoes are the same stages as yours, cherry ones I was picking today and the larger ones are still green. The zucchini is kind of petering out on me and I'm still to locate a pumpkin. You definitely have a green thumb.

Hi Olga, Pretty new header/banner.....I'm jealous of your tomatoes... the blight is creeping back here again as the leaves are beginning to yellow and wither...I fear all may be lost again this year :(

Hi Olga, The garlic looks so pretty in the basket. I pulled some of my homegrown garlic and we ate it. It was much milder than the store-bought kind. Have a great wknd!

I think your garden looks a whole lot better than mine, Olga! My husband would love it if I grew garlic (he makes the best pesto!) - is it hard to grow? Pretty lilac colored flowers, too!
